The 2001 spring season of the Finnish version of the show, Haluatko miljonääriksi?, was aired from 4 February to 8 April. The season had 10 episodes. The episodes were aired on Sundays (55 minutes, including commercials, at 7:05 p.m.) on the TV channel Nelonen.
As the previous season, the spring season was hosted by Lasse Lehtinen. The first episode of the next season was aired on 7 October, 2001.

This episode was a celebrity special. The contestants in the episode were the singer Jari Sillanpää, the Member of Parliament Irina Krohn, the radio and TV host Henkka Hyppönen, and the entrepreneur Anitra Ahtola. All the prize money of the episode went for drug prevention of the youth.
