Ingram Wilcox, a professional quiz player from Bath, Somerset born in 1944, was a contestant on series 20 of the UK version of the show on 16 & 23 September, 2006. He is the fifth and, as of 2014, the last British contestant to win £1,000,000.

    • John Gallantry is the only contestant that played after Ingram that got to see a £500,000 question, on 26 May, 2007.
  • Wilcox appeared as a Fastest Finger Contestant during a 2004 show, but failed to make it into the hot seat.
  • Prior to becoming a millionaire on this show, Ingram Wilcox appeared on many other quiz/game shows such as 'Fifteen to One' and 'Mastermind' where he made it to the Grand Final in 1980.
