Lifelines

There are were lifelines (õlekõrsi in Estonian) available to all contestants.

  • 50/50: The computer eliminated two incorrect answers, leaving the correct answer and the remaining one incorrect answer.
  • Phone-a-Friend (Phone-a-Friend): The contestant called one of up to three friends who provided their phone numbers in advance. The contestant had 30 seconds to read the question and answer choices to the friend who then had the remaining time to offer input.
  • Ask the Audience (Ask the Audience): Audience members used touch pads to designate what they believed the correct answer to be. The audience choosing each specific option was displayed to the contestant.
  • Tarkade klubi (Three Wise Men, 2007-2008): When a contestant decided to use this lifeline, the host would read and fed the question to a panel of three experts, and they would have 30 seconds to confer and figure out the answer to the question. The experts in the Estonian version were Ivo Linna, Indrek Salis and Jevgeni Nurmla.
