This is a list of women who have hosted their country's version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. While the majority of worldwide franchises are hosted by men, only 14 countries worldwide have had at least one female host.

Only one country has had a female host for the duration of its run; Canada in particular with Pamela Wallin hosting both episodes of its two-episode run.

One of the most famous examples of a female host is Meredith Vieira, who hosted Syndicated Millionaire in the USA from 2002 to 2013.

Trivia Edit

  • Austria's Barbara Stöckl was the first ever female host, presenting the first incarnation of Die Millionenshow between 2000 and 2002. Armin Assinger took over after this.
  • Portugal's Maria Elisa Domingues was the first female host to crown a millionaire when Ana Damásio won the jackpot of 50 million escudos in September 2000.
