Sony Pictures Entertainment is an international multimedia company that distributes filmed entertainment, including movies and television shows. It is the parent company of 2waytraffic, the holders of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? franchise, and owns and distributes the rights to the show worldwide in all countries other than the United States; the Walt Disney Company owns and distributes the rights to the U.S. version due to a licensing agreement originally made between Celador (the predecessor company to 2waytraffic) and Disney back in 1999.
