Trivia[]

  • Steve Devlin is the first contestant to have to wait until the next episode, due to the klaxon sounding, to see his £1,000,000 question. Ingram Wilcox is the next and last contestant to have the same consequence in 2006. However, the UK channel Challenge edited out the klaxon for the Classic Millionaire repeats.
  • He was at the studios in September 1999 when Series 4 aired around at that time. He went back home because of his panic attack and regretted it. Even if he was in the studios of September '99, Series 4 has no sign of him appearing. Series 4 has no appearance of Steve as the filming was taken earlier in 1999.
  • When Steve was answering the £1,000,000 question, he drunk Chris Tarrant's glass of water by mistake.
    • Steve drunk a lot of water during filming out of nervousness, and Chris had to top him up at numerous points.
