It is used firstly on ¿Quién quiere ser millonario? in Chile (2006 - 2008, 2019), mostly used on Ai Là Triệu Phú in Vietnam (2008 - 2010, 2011 - April 28, 2020), and also used on Haluatko miljonääriksi? in Finland (2016–present), Želite li da postanete milioner? in Serbia (2010-2011), and ¿Quién quiere ser millonario? in Argentina (2019-2020). The lifeline is similar to Ask One of the Audience.

Who wants to be a Millionaire Vietnam

The Ask Three of the Audience lifeline being used on the Vietnamese version of Millionaire

This lifeline is available for last 10 questions on Vietnamese and Serbia version, last 5 questions in Chile, Argentina, or all questions in Finland, or as a Risk-format only lifeline(like was in the Hungarian version). When a contestant uses this lifeline, contestant gets to pick three random members of the audience, and they suggest the contestant the answer they think is correct. If any of the audience suggests the correct answer, they will be rewarded with a prize (only in Vietnam and Finland).

Note that in the event no audience members know the answer, as has happened in Argentina, the lifeline is not refunded.

  • Finnish: Kysy yleisöltä (2016–present)
  • Hungary: A három tanácsnok (2008)
  • Serbian: Glas naroda (2010-2011)

Originally, from April 1, 2008 to May 13, 2008, each audience got it right will receive a special gift basket from the sponsor P&G.
  • On Haluatko miljonääriksi?, the contestant chooses the suggested answer and it proves to be correct, each audience member who got it correct received a gift card for Scandic Hotels (in the 2016 spring season) or a €99 gift card of the telecommunications company DNA (in the 2016 autumn season).

Variations[]

  • People Speak: Used on the Philippine version from 2011 until 2015, it has the same functionality as Three of the Audience, but the audience members who are correct will receive a share of a prize of ₱20,000. It replaced the Ask the Audience lifeline.

Graphics[]

  • On Chile version from 2006 - 2007, and on Vietnamese version from April 1 to May 13, 2008 (when the show was still using black graphic), the lifeline's logo was similar to Ask One of the Audience on the German and Czech version. The dollar ($) symbol was placed on the left of the human symbol and the question mark (?) was placed on the right of human symbol.
  • When the Vietnamese version upgraded to Rave graphic on 2008, the lifeline's logo from 2006 - 2007 was upgraded to blue background elipse. This design was also used on the Argentina version.
  • In 2019, Chile brought back the lifeline. The graphics was dark-blue background one.
  • On the Finnish version, the graphics was similar to Vietnamese version. However, the dollar symbol was replaced by "??".
  • On the Serbian version, they don't use regular symbol for the lifeline. Instead, they uses three "?s", references to 3 audience members.
